HIGHER GROUND, an international leader for instructional services and products, is conducting a special GET READY FOR THE FALL CLINIC on July 11, 2008, in Tifton, Georgia. An outstanding, international staff has been secured and will conduct sessions for all ages, all skills, and all levels. This is YOUR chance to tune up and improve the skills that you’ll need for fall softball, either on school teams or travel teams, or get a head start for next spring’s games. The International Softball Federation, International Sports Group, the United States Air Force, and many international federations have used Higher Ground services. Higher Ground has conducted activities in approximately forty states, plus Argentina, Austria, Azores, Canada, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Zambia. CLINIC INFORMATION

WHEN: Friday (July11): 9:00-1:00 & 2:00-5:00. Players may leave for lunch from 1:00-2:00 or bring sack lunch.

AGES: 8 and older, divided by age groups. Higher Ground is known for our approach to helping even the most serious travel team player.

INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF: Lee Dobbins (Tennessee) – Former Head Coach at Texas A&M International University and Lander College; former assistant coach at UT-Chattanooga and Tusculum College; international experience in Austria, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. Kristen Shirk (Ohio) - Evansville University (Indiana); Former member of Higher Ground International Player Advisory Board; very popular Higher Ground camp instructor for past two years.

FEES: Players: Bronze Level includes clinic attendance; Silver Level includes attendance plus choice of T-Shirt ($15 value); Gold Level includes attendance, T-Shirt ($15 value), and signed copy of Improved Hitting for Girl’s Softball by Bobby Simpson ($20.00 value). Advance Player Registration is Bronze – $55; Silver – $65; Gold – $75. On-Site is $65/75/85. Special Team Rate (must include 6 or more) Each person receives $10.00 discount for any level of advance registration. Call for details. Adults, including coaches: $25.00 observation fee, with each adult receiving Higher Ground T-Shirt, copy of The Best of Getting Better Every Day (choose Vol.1 or Vol. 2), and on-field access to all player sessions. Adults not desiring on-field access and other benefits of registration may certainly sit in bleachers during clinic.
